When you see a piece like this in blue tones with a dash of white and it is so incredibly clean and tight, you can only stand back in wonder and admire the extraordinary talent of Bristol’s Cheo.

Cheo usually paints character pieces, and I don’t think there is anyone better at creating this cartoon style anywhere in the country. Every line and shadow is immaculate and skilfully laid down. As always he has marked the piece with his signature bee. This was a lovely surprise piece to find in Dean Lane and is another little reminder of the world class street art scene in Bristol.
Saw him painting this and most of it came together so quickly it really was quite extraordinary . . .

You do get out a lot… wish I was out there more.

I try to see one or perhaps two places a day but if I know something is going on will try
to get there and have a chat
As you know sometimes we get lucky and other times we seem to go round and round without seeing anything new
I guess that’s just how it goes
Thankfully we both have plenty of pieces to post at any one time 😉

I guess I’m out maybe 2-3 times a week, and I miss a lot. I might not get to Dean Lane until Friday and the wonderful new stuff today might have gone. Such is life. A surfeit of riches.
