School swimming lessons remembered

.

That little schoolboy

petrified and insecure;

a bully teacher.

Butterflies in his tummy

and mental paralysis.

    1. I can relate to a lot of your story. It was the shouting and forcing us to do things I was scared of, and the appalling way they treated the weaker swimmers. You woul constantly be worried that you might get picked on next.

      I was a fair swimmer, and great gymnast, but throughout I was terrified of all the PE teachers.

      1. I find I fall to the shadorma when this happens. The tanka suited it perfectly, not least because presumably there were some tank suits around you? Ha ha
