I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

  1. I’ve just finished watering almost 200 potted plants outside with a watering can so to see it start raining as soon as I’d finished was hilarious . . .
At least i know they’ve been fed and watered properly . . .

      1. It does indeed take ages but it also means I can water them properly and make sure they all get fed as well, and to be fair it’s good exercise for about 90 minutes.

Yesterday though I ordered one of those expanding hoses lol 😉

      2. Although I like the rhythm I get into running up and down the stairs with the watering can
It almost always puts me into a good mood both while I’m doing it and after I’ve finished . . .

  2. It’s 7:15 p.m. I have just finished my dinner and settled down to drink a digestive wine and then this. Laughter is truly the best medicine. How paradoxical. Watering while it’s raining. God has an
extraordinary sense of humor. I think it’s intended to show us how to laugh at ourselves
Makes me think about Umberto Eco and The Name of the Rose; an underlying theme of which was humour in everyday life.

    1. I always think it’s the law of sod in full effect to be fair 😉
Although the amount of rain we actually had wouldn’t of even dampened the top layer of soil let alone got right down to where the water is actually needed . . .
