The rebel in me wont allow me to do that.
I decided to use cash as often as possible because I’m damned if Visa, Mastercard, Lloyds etc etc get to know where I am and what I’m spending my money on every single day and then using that data for their own gain . . .
Also what happens if the internet goes down or there’s an electricity cut?
Had that problem the other day the EFTPOS terminal went down mid transaction, cash to the rescue! Cash also makes discretionary spending a bit easier to track – empty wallet no buy 😦

I’ve had £40 in my wallet since May, not spent it yet. Even the kids aren’t fleecing me.
