Yes, I know! Oh, that’s a shame you won’t get to go. At least you found out early enough not be disappointed on the day, or en route.
You’d think that with the money they’re on they could afford to stick to the rules regardless.
Although I guess they still get paid that ridiculous amount of money whether they actually play a game of football or not . . .

True. I have tickets for the Manchester City game on New Year’s Day and am taking my daughter to her first match. Keeping my fingers crossed.
