Doors 182 – Doors of Montpelier, Bristol
A quick introduction this week – work pressures are as heavy as ever. These doors were photographed on a dog walk a week or so ago, in a nearby area of Bristol called Montpelier (or Montepeculiar by some), famed for the Bohemian lifestyle of its inhabitants, whether accurately or not. I hope you enjoy my little tour of doors in the district.

So that’s it for another week. May I wish you all a very happy weekend.
If you have made it this far, you probably like doors, and you really ought to take a look at the No Facilities blog by Dan Anton who has taken over the hosting of Thursday Doors from Norm 2.0 blog. Links to more doorscursions can be found in the comments section of Dan Anton’s Thursday Doors post.

This is a great collection. I love the yellow house with the blue door and the mural.
I have to ask, does your dog give you a funny look when you stop to photograph a door? My dog stops to sniff everything, but if I stop for a picture, she gives me that, “come on, let’s go” look and a tug.

Yes, he gets bored and pulls on his lead. Many blurred doors ( and street art) pictures have had to be deleted. He also doesn’t like me talking to artists for too long, and let’s me know he is bored by barking.
I think you have a spaniel if memory serves me correctly? Ours is a cocker spaniel.

My guess is that is what is different about doors in Europe – they are narrow-er! The green one is a real beauty. And it is nice to see the first garage door – finally one without graffiti:)

Yes, I like garage doors. I’ll see if I can do a series of them, without tags!
