Gary gets cancelled for telling the truth on his own private twitter.
Bruce gets to stand up for a wife beater on a political programme and the BBC defend her.
As shameful as it gets . . .
Personally I can never forgive the BBC for what they have done to enable this Government over the past 13 years, and the sooner they are forced to show adverts as a way of financing themselves the better.
I am coming round to that way of thinking. Or we have a truly independent broadcaster free from political interference. I know many people who have left the BBC, disillusioned with the bias and political constraints.
When their ranks are filled with Tories and their clear objective is to lie to the general public who are forced to pay for them regardless of whether they watch any of their programming just to keep the status quo I am afraid that any goodwill I might have felt towards them has long since dissipated.
They should be either a subscription based service or funded by advertising.
This forced revenue and a complete lack of morality or the competence to stick to their own charter leaves me with a complete disgust of what they have become.
