I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

Swam at Aberporth this morning, my favourite beach.
Hah – amazing. The water was pretty warm when I went paddling with the dog on Saturday – we were stopping over with family who have hired a cottage there.
That moment when the heat breaks and you can finally breathe, and the view rewards the waiting. This haiku captures it perfectly: the gentle shift from oppressive to peaceful, and those glorious views that make it all worthwhile. Aberporth’s always been stunning, but on days like that? It’s hard to leave. 🌊

Glad you enjoyed it, beware that paddling, could become compulsive!
