Doors 366 – street art and graffiti doors
I am perilously short of time this morning – I have been away with work for a couple of days, and come back to several emergencies (work-related) that I have to deal with added to the fact that the rest of my team are all on leave.
So, as some of you will know, in these circumstances I dig out some street art doors that will have appeared on Natural Adventures before in the street art category. These doors first appeared in April and May 2025:
Although the above piece is not on or near a door, it does have a door on the vehicle!
So that’s it for another week. I hope to resume with Saltaire doors next time.

Thank you, Stephen. I am always delighted to see street art. I love The Prince of Wales’ tropical vibes. My kind of theme.
My favorites, because, I love pink, are the two by Mr. Penfold…very grand statements! Are they both on opposite sides of the same building (Mr. Penfold)?

Yes Mr Penfold had painted three sides of the building in fact. What was bizarre is that I was in Leeds just killing time before catching my train home and stumbled on this quite by accident. Mr Penfold is a Bristol-Based artist who I have featured many times on Natural Adventures. It was a ‘home from home’ moment.

I love it when you run these doors, Steve. It brightens my day, and it’s a great uplifting moment this week. It may seem odd, but my favorite is the trash truck. It seems like a mighty thing happy to do its job. I hope you get to slow down for the weekend.

Thanks, Dan. I love the dust cart too – the artist (Nice One) is one of my favourites. Work is crazy busy – I have been in three wildfire meetings already today, just grabbing a moment away for lunch.

The fires sound awful, as does the merciless heat. I hope Mother Nature gives you a break.

That break has arrived. We are not very well kitted out in the UK for heatwaves – we have had five this year, with temperatures regularly over 30 degrees, topping out at 37 – typically we don’t have air conditioning, apart from shops and hotels, so we suffer in the heat. ‘Normal conditions have returned and the nation breathes a sigh of relief. The whole of England is technically in drought, and wildfires remain a risk.
