468. Moon Street (13)

At risk of getting a bit samey, I simply have to share this exceptional recent piece by Sled One. This time we see one of his wildstyle pieces, where you can make out the letters SLED and the word ONE at the far right.

The colours are absolutely wonderful and in keeping with the season (I’m not sure if this is intentional). The whole piece has a metallic quality to it and is really easy on the eye. This is wildstyle writing at its best.

I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

  1. The street art in Bristol is truly extraordinary. Is this something that happens overnight, like crop-circles or do these murals take considerable time? And, does this activity have the blessing of local government and citizenry? Nigel

    1. It is extraordinary. Most of it happens overnight or in an afternoon/weekend. In certain areas citizens accept it or even appreciate it. Bristol City Council turn a blind eye in some sites, but take a dim view of tagging and recently jailed a persistent tagger ‘Sesk’, whose name appears in quite a lot of local street/graffiti art. Sled One typically sprays his works in 3-4 hours. Amazing really.
