An eye-catching piece in Dean Lane by Jee See (G.C. – Goshiku Chavu). On a black background, he has worked this neon green seismic piece really well. It reminds me of early green screen computers and video games like Space Invaders.

Jee See is another of those Bristol street artists who consistently turns out great work and furthermore he sprays in spots all around the city. Some artists prefer to stick to their own patch. More to come from Jee See soon.
Reminds me of owning a spectrum!

Thanks Scooj. Yes I was a Primary school teacher for 13 years following my art degree in the mid 90s. In 2009 I became Head of Art and put on productions in a school for Dyslexic pupils for seven years. After 20 years of teaching I wanted to pursue my own art career so I became a gardener. I then started my own self employed painting and decorating company when I moved back to Bristol in 2016. I grew up in Bristol and left it in 1992. I didn’t move far away so I could carry on playing gigs in the city. I played drums for 20 years in various local bands. I am now a care worker and do my art in my spare time. I am a recovering alcoholic and I’ve been sober for 2 and a half years now so I have plenty of time for the art. I really appreciate you getting my work out there Scooj, if you ever want to pick and keep a canvas of mine, hit me up. My way of saying thankyou 🙂 x
