What’s happening to her. I’m guessing she’s a wisteria?

Yes, a Chinese wisterias. Having flowered, she just seemed to give up. Maybe affected by the long spell of dry weather, maybe stressed and prone to fungal infection. I simply don’t know.

Nature has a way if healing herself. Maybe she’ll be back next year.

I do hope so. I’m cutting back the dead foliage as if it were the autumn and keeping my fingers crossed.

Indeed what is happening to this beautiful plant?
They can flower every year for decades so this one is still a youngster!

Stunning! Melodic poetry. I’m not sure why she’s staged her last flower show? Say it isn’t so!

I fear she has just given up, like a Puccini heroine dying of consumption.

Ah, you’re so dramatic in a cool way. I’m swooning, yet also saddened.

Music? If she is stressed.

It might be my son’s grime that sent her over the edge.
