Another wonderful column piece from Maybe under Brunel Way and one in which he has combined his faces theme with his more recent cosmic theme to great effect. I have said before in posting Maybe’s work, that I like street art like this because it is a little different and another legitimate form of artistic expression.

I would love to know the secret behind the technique used to create the the planets and stars, the shading on the planet surfaces is particularly nicely done. Maybe’s work just goes from strength to strength.
Indeed another cracker . . .

Finally made it to Bristol today. So much to see so will have to go again soon. Did a quick excursion down to Brunel Bridge – delighted to get a Laic & a Mr Draws there though not much else. Quite a few artists out today – one in the Deaner though there were a lot of ‘yobbos’ (for the want of a better word) hanging about in that alcove thingo when I went back so I didn’t get to see what the piece was. The Laic is still there but obscured by scaffolding so couldn’t get that one. Bright sunlight was a pain as per usual. I think it was Roo I saw on one of the side streets off East Street – didn’t look like she’d finished when I checked en route back to Temple Meads. SPZero was finishing off his piece on North St but was talking to someone when I passed by so didn’t stop for a chat. Also 2 x females doing something on one of the side street up towards the Tobacco Factory but I think they must have gone to lunch or something when I passed by later so never found out who they were. Got a few ‘artist unknowns’ – do you still have that same email address you gave me ages ago? If so I will send unknowns there to see if you can put names to them.

Sounds like you had a good day, and welcome back. It is so difficult keeping up with all the street art in Bristol at the moment, there are so many artists it is crazy, and the Upfest thing has just added to the volume and also quality. I am hoping to get over to Bedminster tomorrow if I have time. I don’t really use that email account much, but if you alert me here that you have sent me an email, I will check it.

SP Zero finished his piece this afternoon
Roo is indeed painting just off East St
That might have been Carla James Artist you saw painting a Hummingbird piece which she also finished this afternoon
As Scooj said though it is actually impossible to keep up with everything at the moment so I just enjoy seeing what I can
Not sure if you know I have a page on Insta and FB called @bristolstreetartandgraffiti
