Doors 356 – Doors of Shrewsbury (part VI) – April 2025
I am in Cornwall with work, and seeing family, but have to jump in the car shortly to get home before travelling up to Leeds this afternoon. This will be a very short post as a result. Some ecclesiastical doors from Shrewsbury this week.

If you have made it this far, you probably like doors, and you really ought to take a look at the No Facilities blog by Dan Anton who has taken over the hosting of Thursday Doors from Norm 2.0 blog. I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

Fantastic doors. I love these old Tudor style buildings and am dying to visit Cornwall one day.
These are great doors. The timber frame building looks a little wonky, but I like it. The church doors are great. The ghost door and the gate at the door on the lower level look like they could be in a horror movie. Just a tad creepy, but nice photos.
I hope you get to slow down a bit for the weekend.
Gorgeous! OK, yet another place to visit if/when the UK immigration goes through! I love the red stone. The basement door behind doors with the stone all gone to moss/algae… the colors!

I agree, I think it might be created by the large iron hinges.
