I retired early by choice, the best decision. You seem fully equipped for a re-designed existence and I wish you well.

Yep, doing lots of thinking. I’m not sure I’ll stop altogether, but might look for part time work or volunteer. I have a bit of time to make plans while on redeployment.

I’m sorry for your disappointment. Obviously some people don’t value you enough. What’s for you won’t go by you, as the Scots say. The right situation could be just on the horizon. x

Just means something better is coming. I’ve found that happens a lot. Seriously, it does. You could have been stuck there and missed the perfect opportunity that’s on it’s way. Fingers crossed. 🤞🏻

I am already looking forwards. So much will be changing in the job I do, and the entire team is moving on, so staying wouldn’t be much fun anyway.

I literally just said out loud, “Oh f***, no!” while reading this. I am so sorry. I have no words of wisdom, just, “This sucks, and I’m so sorry.” It will be numb for a while. I hope it resolves quickly.
