It has been quite a while since I last posted a piece by Mote. I think that he has been painting in remote spots that I just don’t get to see and perhaps not as frequently as he was a year or two ago.
This is a large monster head, perhaps it is a dragon. It couldn’t possibly be by any other trust, his style is so unique, with his intricate detailing with fine black lines, hatchings and dots. His colour selection is nearly always based around soft pastel shades and rarely strong prime colours. A lovely piece and nice surprise.
