1557. Fern Street
It is funny how easy it can be to miss things. I know this piece is reasonably new, but I don’t know exactly how new. I drive past the wall when I park up at the M32 to take pictures there, without really looking at it, because the artwork there has been the same for years. So I only noticed on my last trip.
I don’t think many other ‘hunters’ have spotted it either, because I’ve not seen it on Instagram at all (or maybe that passed me by too!) It is a brilliant and vibrant piece by 3Dom, Feek and Sepr for the Children’s Cycle Exchange in St Agnes. The collaboration is full of fun and utterly in tune with young minds, even incorporating a cheesy joke about a flea DJ.
I am not entirely certain about which bits 3Dom did and which Feek did, and it might be that they truly collaborated on the snail-on-a-bike and the central writing. The right hand side is unmistakably by Sepr albeit a bit more colourful than some of his work.
I felt very privileged and lucky to find this piece on two counts…its utter excellence and its modesty, in that it was completely under the radar. Very, very happy.
1518. M32 Cycle path (16)
This is an interesting burner from Soak in the quiet derelict area sandwiched between the M32 and Stapleton Road. It was part of the cycle route, but it has been closed off while some development works are being carried out.
Soak’s piece uses a fun theme of exploding his name with fragments falling off in all directions. There is movement in the piece and he seems to have spent a little more tome on this than on some of his other burners. Overall I rather like it.

I think that this is my favourite Oner piece to date. He has taken a little more time, which is possible in the backwater of this spot, which receives so little traffic since the cycle path along here was closed about six months ago.
His letters are a little more elaborate and he has included a rather dashing octopus character on the right hand side. I think that a piece like this showcases the capabilities of an artist. It is all fine to spray quick burners, because it is fun, but take a little more time and special work emerges. I love the colours and optimism of this burner.
266. M32 cycle path (1)
A few weeks back I took my car in for its MOT and had to wait an hour or two before it was ready. It was too far to walk home, so I decided to explore an area that I hadn’t been to before, as I was nearby.
I suspected that I would find some graffiti and street art and was not disappointed. This area is an extension of the M32 roundabout, but a little more off the beaten track.
This is another wonderful bit of wildstyle writing from Deamze in delicious green and black. It looks like an older piece, but I can’t be sure, I don’t think the turnover is quite as high as in other areas in Bristol. It is a good piece, and there is plenty more to report on from this area.
