Sensory delights;

calm colours and subtle scents

ease Winter away.

Season’s confusion;

Sprinter – conflation of Spring and Winter

Green

Spring’s prelude so green,

a sight for sore eyes after

the long wet grey days.

Then and now

Butterfly dreams in

Winter, I wonder how to

gaze once more in awe.

Notice

Do you ever look,

I mean…really look, at the

Sunshine

The unforgiving

123. North Street, Standard (1)

This seasonal piece by Cheo is quite a contrast from its political predecessor that adorned this wall during Upfest 2015. I am constantly excited by the range of subjects and styles that the street art scene is capable of producing in Bristol.

This is a cheerful and fun cartoonesque piece so typical of Cheo who must be one of Bristol’s most prolific artists. I will try to dig out the piece that was on this same wall before. Watch this space.

Since dawn, the sad rain

leaves its depressing stain on

all that it touches.
