Today is not a good day from me to write a blog post – I am wrestling with some restructuring at work, and will be up against a dear team colleague, and maybe others, for the only post at my grade that will remain – down from three. Plenty of disruption and upset between now and September when the structure goes live.

This is a beauty from Neddy Ned Ned on the water pumping station at L Dub. Spelling WISKA, the dazzling piece in the bright sunshine is beautifully presented in every aspect. The yellows, pinks and blue background work remarkably well together. Great work from Neddy Ned Ned.

I feel like I ought to have posted far more pieces by Neddy Ned Neddy than I actually have, and I can’t really be too sure why that is. Anyhow, this is a superb piece painted in his unique style as part of the very well-attended birthday paint jam for Wispa.

Rather confusingly, Neddy Ned Neddy writes WISKA, which is coincidental to it being a celebration for Wispa, some of the other artists involved in the paint jam have altered their letters to read Wispa, but not the most obvious candidate, and I think he probably missed a trick here. This is a wonderfully worked piece with a sumptuous blended fill, looking like a kind of swirly marbling. A distinctive and really cool piece of graffiti writing.

This outstanding, colourful piece by Neddy Ned Ned was painted as part of a paint session celebrating Jaksta’s birthday. Although I was present to watch him paint some of this piece, he was a little bit too preoccupied to stop for a chat, and having never met him before, I didn’t want to interrupt him.

This really is a top-drawer piece of wildstyle graffiti writing. The letters spell out Wiska and are filled with a quite superb blended yellow, orange and red colour combination which has a marble effect, really clever. The contrasting blue and black drop shadow has a vanishing point in the centre of the piece. The letters burst out of the wall and bedazzle.
