I am Stephen. I live in Bristol, UK. I decided to shorten my profile...to this: Wildlife, haiku, travel, streetart, psychogeography and my family. Not necessarily in that order.

I have never seen Venus Fly Traps growing outdoors in England – only indoors in pots. The New Forest has a similar carnivorous plant that grows in the marshes. Its here that triops can be found – the three-eyed tadpole shrimps – which I have only seen once and have kept the location secret for fear of foragers.

This is a heat, a display at Birmingham botanical gardens from a while ago.

Oh – I thought it might be the warm weather in Bristol or London – good photos and haiku though

Gorgeous and dark. I can smell the perfume and the danger.

Strange how the flies are drawn to their death under the influence.

Haha. Like many men and women, perhaps? If not drawn to their death, then drawn to their captivity.
Fascinating how hearts seek a mate, and then when the commitment is in place, we then pine for freedom. Humans are so fickle. Lol.
