272. Devon Road (5)

This is another piece from my very happy trip to Devon Road back in Early May 2016. At the time of the visit, I wasn’t familiar with the work of Mr Draws, but have recently posted works by him in The Bearpit and at Dean Lane skate park.

This piece incorporates his trademark mountain range with wonderful colour selection and form rippling across the piece. I am growing more fond of his work, which at first, I must confess, left me a little cold.

264. The Bearpit (20)

This is a beautiful triptych photographed in the West tunnel of the Bearpit back in January 2016. At the time I didn’t know very much about Mr Draws, the artist, and the images disappeared in my ever expanding archive.

Mr Draws appears to be getting more active on the street art side of things and his work is popping up all over the place. The last of his works I featured was in Dean Lane skate park, and you can see his style pulsing through this creature.

This piece is absolutely wonderful, I like to think of it as a fox, but on closer inspection, I’m not too sure what animal it is. Top marks for this lovely work, sadly long since gone.

215. Stokes Croft, the Carriageworks (8)

You can probably tell by now that I am clearing through my December backlog of images. Here is another one by Mr Klue. Mr Klue (Klue Wone) is a Bristol based designer and illustrator whose work is turning up everywhere at the moment. This is a particularly colourful piece that typifies his excellent selection of colours and shades and presents his swirling patterns with soft angular corners.

Mr Klue’s work is so original and distinctive, and it is nice to see some abstract stuff adorning Bristol’s walls. His website is here.

158. The Bearpit (8)

It is Easter Sunday today. I wish you a happy day. This is a recent piece by the extremely prolific Tom Miller. It can be found on the south tunnel end wall of the Bearpit, which is the exact site of another of his recent works featured here.

His ‘imaginite’ concept is in full flow here, combining hard reality with soft imagination. I find his works counselling, and am always excited when I discover a new piece such as this one.

Probably more accustomed to a gallery wall, it looks like Miller really enjoys creating his street pieces.
