Cesto One, M32 roundabout, Bristol, February 2026

This is another outstanding piece which was painted during a recent paint jam on the M32 roundabout showcasing some of the best wildstyle writing that you are likely to see, in terms of its sheer quality and pure class. This piece is by Cesto One.

Unfortunately I show my ignorance of artists not based in Bristol, and know little of Cesto One, and I don’t believe I have ever posted any of the artist’s work before. You only need to look at this piece once to see that it is painted by an established and confident writer. All the elements are tidy and clean, with outstanding fill transitions, subtle patterns, a gorgeous drop shadow with blended black and green, all set on a dark background and purple cloud. Fabulous work.

Avem808, M32 roundabout, Bristol, February 2026

I am enjoying observing the Avem808’s work, as an artist who only came on to my radar midway through last year. I am not sure whether he only then moved to Bristol, or whether I had simply missed his work before, which I find unlikely but not impossible. The point is that he is here now, and I tend to post every new piece of his that I find.

This is a nicely crafted chrome piece on a fiery background. Avem808 has a distinctive style that is intricate and layered, with deep drop shadows falling upon other letters, for example the A and M sitting above the E, if that makes any sense at all. The colour combination works well and the piece stands out on this wall. Having said all that, it didn’t last very long, which is a pity.

Turoe, M32 roundabout, Bristol, February 2026

This outstanding piece was painted by Turoe, who credited the outline to Muster One. Painted alongside four other artists, the paint jam has turned out to be something of a masterclass of graffiti writing, and this is the second piece I have posted from the session, the first being by Hemper.

Turoe belongs to a small group of graffiti writers who have been smashing it for years (decades) on the streets of Bristol and has earned his place in the scene’s folklore. The seamless transition of colours from light green at the top to dark green at the bottom is flawless. Lots of arrows and overlapping elements from letter to letter showcase this lovely bit of wildstyle writing. Bravo!

Hemper, M32 roundabout, Bristol, February 2026

I am off to another football match in London to watch Arsenal play Chelsea. Full of nerves that other fans might appreciate, and non fans might find puzzling. The long and short of it is that I have to get a move on. This is a wonderful piece by Hemper, painted as part of a paint jam at the roundabout a couple of weeks ago.

Hemper has had a quiet winter, following on from a superbly productive and positive 2025. His talent is there for all to see, and he has smashed it with this metallic-look writing. The letters spell HEMS and the combination of blues, greys and whites create the illusion of shining metal – such clever deception. I particularly like the crazy orange drop shadow, that appears to break the rules and gets away with it. Wonderful work.

Stivs, M32 roundabout, Bristol, November 2025

In this post, I take another quick jump back in time, to November last year, to share this script piece from Stivs. It has been quite noticeable that Stivs has changed the ratios of his pieces over the last year or so. He used to split his character pieces and calligraffiti roughly 50/50, but these days he has shortened his writing, often to the initials DSC, and is painting fewer character pieces. I guess, other factors have impacted on how much he paints at the moment.

The three letters, DSC, stand for ‘Dog Sh*t Club’ which is probably why the letters are preferred. Stivs has worked the letters really nicely in a Gothic style, and the bronze colour really stands out. The harsh letters are somewhat softened by the surrounding yellow cloud with what looks like red and orange sperm cells wiggling their way into the letters. A curious piece, but one I wanted to share from the archive.

Desi and Posh, M32 roundabout, Bristol, February 2026

Here we have a lovely Desi piece which reverts back to her DESI letters, rather than her VEIL letters that she has been favouring in recent months. If you look closely, you will notice that she has been joined with an impish addition by Posh.

Desi’s letters are filled with four shades of purple containing reversed out spots through the colour courses. The letters are finished well with a black drop shadow and fine yellow border.

The addition of a Posh character exclaiming the words ‘eh up’, perhaps betraying a Derbyshire or Yorkshire origin, is a bonus bit of fun. Different artists, different styles, most likely painted at different times.

Klashwhensober, M32 roundabout, Bristol, February 2026

There was a time when Klashwhensober was the most prolific graffiti writer in Bristol, by some margin. For personal reasons that run came to a fairly abrupt end. After a quiet year or so, Klashwhensober has returned in a much more measured and regulated fashion, painting the odd piece here and there.

This piece on the roundabout has been painted over some other work, and is perhaps less defined around the edges than it might be. The letters spell SOBER and are nicely filled with red, white and blue, with some creative fills throughout. Although it looks a little busy, there is a calmness about this piece which I hope is a reflection on the artist’s current situation.

Lupa, M32 roundabout, Bristol, January 2026

There is a simplicity and a joy in Lupa’s work, which makes me very happy. Often her pieces can be slightly untidy, but this one is really nicely finished, but maintains that grounded charm she achieves.

Her letter shapes are great and the fills have a wonderful 1970s vibe to them, especially set on the contrasting yellow background. I love this piece… can you tell?

Desi and Mr Two Gram, M32 roundabout, Bristol, January 2026

Desi and Mr Two Gram are a couple who often paint together, and here is one of their recent collaborations. Their styles are quite different, and so the collaborative part of their work is limited to the fact that they paint side-by-side. To the left Desi has painted her VEIL letters presented beautifully which include her trademark heart.

To the right Mr Two Gram has painted a chrome and purple piece, which although an unlikely combination, actually works rather well. I feel that Mr Two Gram is rather underrepresented on Natural Adventures, and ought to address that. His work is often quite low-key and modest, so perhaps I don’t pick up on it as much as I might. It is always great when these two get out and paint together.

Smak, M32 roundabout, Bristol, January 2026

Class always stands out, and even if one is not a fan of graffiti art, it is possible to see that this writing by Smak is rather special. There is something about the artwork in this piece that reminds me of a Bristol writer called Epok, who hasn’t been very active for several years now.

The letters SMAK are really well disguised in a stunning arrangement of colours and shapes. This is graffiti writing out of the very top drawer.
