on climate change consensus;
sense of urgency.

Good for you. That is a journey I will struggle with. I do however walk most places or use public transport. We use sustainable power supplies, but we could do a hell of a lot more.

We’ve got to start somewhere. Let’s hope this is not too little too late.

You above all others have proved you can cut your cloth during your drought. Much tougher than the changes we need to start making to reduce CO2 emmissions.

Thank you, but not enough people saved water until forced to. I guess it is human nature?
I am hopeful that the next generation will strive to undo a lot of our pollution, now we are more aware of the long term effects.

Scary stuff, isn’t global apathy a pain in the arse?

There are some weird inconsistencies… a cathedral (extremely important culturally and significant to France and Europe) Burns down and we get 20 minutes on the news two evenings running, plus pledges of £500million to rebuild, and Macron promising to complete the project in 5 years. Climate change and biodiversity loss are global ‘Notre Dames’ but leaders across the world choose to do little and commit less. I weep.

You make a good point. I think there are signs of the establishment being rattled but nowhere near enough yet. Pass the tissues.
