Bbygwya, Peel Street Green, Bristol, December 2025
The Peel Street Green spot is a funny one. Sometimes it can go for weeks without any refreshes, and other times it can change every few days. It is one of those places that I need to visit regularly just in case, it is also quite a nice walk with the dog alongside the River Frome.
Bbygwya, Peel Street Green, Bristol, December 2025
This piece by Bbygwya (AKA – Lux, Luxe, Flux) was part of a birthday paint jam for Roma I think. The letters LUXIE are nicely presented, with some great fading in her fill work of pinks and greys. Her letters are given a lift with some white highlights and white corner spots. Altogether a nice piece of graffiti writing from Lux.
There are a few writers who stick to their letters and work on improving them from piece to piece, this being one of them. This might be the best I have seen so far from Roma, which was painted alongside Bbygwya (Luxe/Flux).
Roma, M32 Cycle path, Bristol, December 2025
The turquoise, blue and black colours work well together in this piece and the steady drop shadow in white contrasts nicely. A light blue plasma streak runs through all the letters, giving off a bit of a glow, which adds interest to the whole idea. Some scribbled butterflies finish the piece off nicely. All good work from Roma.
2025 has been an outstanding year for Bloem and Sub, with both artists making great strides forward with their work. In particular, Sub’s steady progress is beginning to bear fruit as he introduces more ideas into his letters, particularly with his fills.
Sub, Frome Side, Bristol, December 2025
I have always felt that Sub’s letters were a little over large, but now that he is being more creative with his fill patterns, the space lends itself to something quite grand, like this repeating black and white pattern. This must have taken a while to complete freehand, but it was certainly worth the bother. A deep 3D drop shadow in dark red sets the piece off beautifully.
Sub and Bloem, Frome Side, Bristol, December 2025
In the middle of the two pieces is a wonderful character piece of Betty Boop, skilfully and faithfully reproduced by the pair. I have a feeling that both artists were involved in the creation of this character. It is not the first time that Betty Boop has appeared in Natural Adventures (see below).
Bloem, Frome Side, Bristol, December 2025
Bloem continues with her outstanding work, and this Burberry check piece is simply brilliant. The letters spell out BLOEM, and the check design flows beautifully through the piece, swishing in all directions. I love the red smily face and strap handle. This is a supremely well crafted piece and a wonderful collaboration. Bravo!

Goldie, Jody, Dibz, Posea, Zuke, Soker, Cheo and Fade, Brunel Way, Bristol, August 2025
This piece is difficult to describe in its entirety. It is an epic piece to celebrate one year on from the Goldie inspired Ikea wall, and also to honour DJ Randall, and this particular spot has been used by the THK crew for a few years now to pay tribute to the departed musician. The paint jam included work from Goldie, Jody, Dibz, Posea, Zuke, Soker, Cheo and Fade. It is worth noting that this piece hasn’t been touched since it was painted in August.
Goldie and Zuke, Brunel Way, Bristol, August 2025
From the left, the collaboration begins with a piece of graffiti writing by Goldie and some flowers by Zuke. Some bright and rather beautiful work here to get things going.
Jody and Zuke, Brunel Way, Bristol, August 2025
Next up is a portrait of DJ Randall by Jody, one of many renditions of the artist that has graced this spot. Once again, the portrait piece is embroidered by some flowers by Zuke. The greyscale piece is punctuated only by a gold tooth and gold ring.
Dibz and Zuke, Brunel Way, Bristol, August 2025
Dibz is up next, with the letters AMBER (I think), and of course, there are some more flowers surrounding the letters, and a trademark Bee by Cheo. The letters are beautifully filled, and the drop shadow has a wonderful pulsating effect.
Posea and Zuke, Brunel Way, Bristol, August 2025
The steel case with the Metalheadz logo and record sleeve are by Posea and each of the contributing artists has signed the sleeve, almost as if it were a tangible object.
Soker, Cheo, Fade and Zuke, Brunel Way, Bristol, August 2025
Finally, the epic wall is rounded off with writing from Soker, a toucan smoking a cigar and a python by Cheo and the letters THK by Fade, once more festooned with Zuke’s flowers. The whole wall is a bit of a masterpiece, that has been enjoyed by many this year.
Continuing with my end-of-year trawl through my archive, I found this piece by Dibz from June. I can’t for the life of me think how I missed posting this one, other than at that time Dibz nd Fade were churning out so many superb pieces, it was difficult to keep up.
Dibz, Dean Lane, Bristol, June 2025
The combination piece features the cartoon character Captain Crocodile from Disney’s Robin Hood, a film I don’t think I have ever seen. The letters spelling DIBZ are somewhat eclipsed by the character holding a cushion upon which sits a spray can. A great fun piece in the Deaner.
This is rather a nice tidy piece from Zbomb painted as part of a collaborative wall with Hemper and Hypo, I seem to recollect, although it was from way back in March and my memory is not what it used to be.
Zbomb, M32 roundabout, Bristol, March 2025
His name is n appropriate description of his work, a letter Z and a cartoon style bomb. His work is often less polished than this one, which demonstrates that when he takes the time he is more than capable of turning out something rather good. A fun piece from Zbomb.
I’m off to a football match this morning and will shortly be catching a train to London, so today’s posts are likely to be fairly swift. The next few posts are ones from earlier this year that somehow got left behind in my archives. This was a nice collaboration from Hire and Ceus back in February.
Hire, Dean Lane, Bristol, February 2025
Some unusual writing, spelling out Odiah, one of the words Hire likes to use, and his trademark rabbit. All looking rather smooth in the winter sunshine.
Ceus, Dean Lane, Bristol, February 2025
Ceus appears to have left these shores now, and I think that this might have been amongst the last ones he painted in Bristol. A fine collaboration.
Before Christmas, I had a little jaunt through my archives and managed to pull out a few wonderful pieces that I missed first time round. This is a gorgeously colourful and upbeat piece by Esme Lower from January this year.
Esme Lower, Greenbank, Bristol, January 2025
The simple letters filled with great colours spell out MELO, the central letters of her name combined. The 3D drop shadows are unruly, drifting off in all sorts of directions, but it kind of works. I particularly like the white dot highlights, which are an unconventional take on creating depth to the piece. Nice, clean work from Esme Lower, and part of her exploration and improvement.
I am sitting at the kitchen table listening to a Christmas mix, and have Slade ringing in my ears as I write. It has just transitioned to the Jackson 5 and Santa Clause is Coming to Town, and now on to Chris Rea (RIP) and Driving home for Christmas. I am definitely in the groove.
Mesk, Frome Side, Bristol, December 2025
This is a nice piece of graffiti writing from Mesk on the north bank of the River Frome underneath the M32 motorway. The large letters spell out MESK in a white that could almost be mistaken for chrome (it can be difficult to tell sometimes, especially if there is a glare from the sun). There is a purple background that does enough to separate the writing from the adjacent graffiti. Sometimes less is more and that applies here in my view.
Happy Christmas to one and all. It is a gorgeous cold crisp and sunny morning here in Bristol, the food is all prepped and ready to go for this afternoon and I have a moment to write a couple of posts. I am full of Christmas spirit and all is well. What better way to celebrate than to post this wonderful piece by Desi, a stalwart of Natural Adventures.
Desi, M32 Cycle path, Bristol, December 2025
This upbeat piece which incorporates the winning combination of pink and blue, is a study in shades of grey, with five tones making up the fill in the letters VEIL. This is an attractive piece and the hearts have a feel-good factor about them. Wonderful.
